Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of getgiftwrapd.com (the “Site”) and the GiftWrapd mobile application (the “App”). By using the Site or App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What GiftWrapd is

GiftWrapd helps families give more thoughtful gifts, preserve memories, and celebrate traditions.

The Site and App reinforce each other but do not require each other to function.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use GiftWrapd. The App is intended for adults managing family gift planning.

3. Accounts

The App does not require a GiftWrapd user account for core journaling. Premium unlocks are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Site may offer optional email signup; you are responsible for information you submit.

4. License and ownership

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site and App for personal, non-commercial purposes (or internal family use). We retain all rights to GiftWrapd branding, design, software, and original content. You retain rights to the journal content you create in the App.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse GiftWrapd, including by attempting to disrupt the Site, reverse engineer the App except where allowed by law, scrape content at abusive scale, or use GiftWrapd for unlawful purposes.

6. Gift guides, affiliates, and recommendations

Guides and finder results are for inspiration. Product availability, pricing, and suitability change. Where we use affiliate links or sponsored placements, we will disclose that relationship. Sponsored content will be clearly labeled. Recommendations are not a guarantee of quality or fit.

7. Digital printables and downloads

Printables and digital products (when offered) are licensed for personal use unless a listing says otherwise. Redistribution or resale is not permitted without written permission.

8. Premium purchases

Premium features in the App are sold as a one-time unlock (unless we later offer a different product and disclose it). Purchases, refunds, and billing disputes are handled under Apple or Google store policies. Premium does not move your journal to our servers.

Introductory or “Founders” pricing may be offered for a limited time. If you purchase Premium at an introductory price, that unlock remains yours; we may raise the price for later purchasers. Any Founding Family Member recognition (such as a badge in Settings) is provided in the App as a courtesy for early supporters and is not a separate transferable product.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled for the Site and App. By using GiftWrapd, you also acknowledge that policy.

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND APP ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Gift ideas are not professional financial, legal, or medical advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GiftWrapd and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or App. Our total liability for any claim relating to GiftWrapd will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for Premium in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GiftWrapd from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or App or your violation of these Terms.

13. Third-party services

Links to retailers, app stores, or other sites are not endorsements. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you leave GiftWrapd.

14. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or discontinue features of the Site or App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend access for violations of these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
