We’re here to help with the GiftWrapd app (private offline gift journal) and getgiftwrapd.com (gift inspiration and tools). The site and app work well together but don’t require each other.

We typically reply within a few business days.

Billing & refunds. Premium is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. For payment issues or refunds, use those stores’ support tools — we don’t charge your card directly.
Journal recovery. Your gift journal lives on your device. We can’t see or restore it from our servers. If you made a backup export, restore from that file on your device.

App help

Private by design. People, gifts, ideas, budgets, photos, and traditions you enter stay on your device. No GiftWrapd account is required for the journal.
Backups. Use Backup & export in Settings to save a copy you control. Store that file somewhere safe (Files, Drive, email to yourself, etc.).
Lost data / reinstall. Without a backup you exported, uninstalling or losing the device can mean losing the journal. We cannot recover it remotely.
Premium. Once the app is available, open Settings and tap the GiftWrapd card (“Free · Unlock Premium”), then purchase or Restore purchase. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Photos. Attaching a photo uses your device photo library (with permission). Images stay with your journal on the device unless you export or share a backup yourself.
Reminders. Birthday and holiday reminders use local notifications on your device — check Settings → Notifications (and the system notification permission) if they aren’t firing.
App lock. Optional Face ID, device passcode, or PIN locks the app on that device only. We don’t receive your lock credentials.
Delete my data. Delete people/gifts in the app, clear data, or uninstall. For a waitlist email you submitted on the website, email us and we’ll remove it from that list.

Launch special & Founders

Is Premium $7.99 forever? Yes for families who purchase at the Founders price — it’s a one-time unlock, not a subscription. Later buyers may pay a higher price when we raise it in the app stores.
What is Founding Family Member? When you unlock Premium at the Founders price, Settings shows a Founding Family Member badge as a thank-you. It’s stored on your device with Premium (a courtesy recognition, not a separate store product).
What does Free include? Up to 10 people, gifts for the current calendar year, 1 photo per gift, ideas, families, budgets, occasions, reminders, and optional app lock (Face ID, device passcode, or PIN).
What does Premium unlock? Unlimited people, lifetime gift history, gift memories & stories, up to 6 photos per gift, family traditions, Inspiration catalog, spending reports, backup & export, plus duplicate detection and smart suggestions.
Where do I unlock Premium? Once the app is available, open Settings → tap the GiftWrapd card (“Free · Unlock Premium”). Use Restore purchase on that screen if you already bought Premium.
